Jam strainer kit complete with plastic stand with folding legs and a jam straining bag. Thomas Plant was founded in 1850 as a family owner wholesaler of ironmongery and houseware products. Today the company is still family owned and it maintains the same values and traditions of its founders. Since the 1990′s the company has focused solely on developing its kitchenware brands.

   I needed to make some jelly for a competition. Being relatively new to making jelly I needed to purchase a jelly bag. I wanted easy to use equipment that I could store in a small space after use. I looked at several options and the Kitchen Craft strainer seemed to be just what I needed. I made my jelly entered the competition and was delighted to get 18/20 marks. The strainer was easy to use and will be used on many future occasions.

   A great item. Holds a normal recipe amount, but not two. Quite large to store as the legs are not removeable once fiited in place. Makes jelly making much simpler!

   Just the ticket! All the years i’ve used my home-made precarious construction! If only I’d known about this one. Easy to assemble. Adjustable feet for width of bucket under. Easy to clean
